Account Coordinator / E-mail
Ashley is an account coordinator at Hart-Boillot who works with high-tech and clean-tech accounts. Previously she worked at McAfee worldwide support with the strategy and communications teams. Ashley's fascination with technology started in Kindergarten, where she was known as the “Take-Apart Queen” because during playtime she would take a hammer to miscellaneous donated appliances. This Queen's "crowning" achievement came when she fixed her parents junked VCR with her bare hands and a screwdriver (it helped that she had watched her little brother feed it coins over several weeks).
Outside of work you can find Ashley either sailing or wishing she were sailing. She graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in Political Science.

In 1999, Nicolas helped create HB after stints at several different business-to-business technology agencies. He had identified a need for a technically-savvy creative marketing communication agency with solid business processes and a focus on measuring campaign outcomes. In his career, Nicolas has managed communications campaigns for brands such as HP, Gore Bike Wear, EMC, Fairchild Semiconductor, Vicor Corporation and NanoHorizons.
As a business leader, Nicolas believes that the best results come from people who develop their personal passions in conjunction with their professional lives. For Nicolas, his love for flying and drive to continuously improve HB client outcomes resulted in the “FlightPlan” methodology for HB’s Public Relations and Branding practices, based on the principle that reaching a destination successfully requires rigorous procedures before and during a journey. HB's FlightPlan methodology relies on a process-based framework to achieve successful business results, while setting the stage for ground-breaking creativity.
Nicolas developed his keen interest in climate change in the early 1990s when he worked at the University of Minnesota’s Limnological Research Center for geologist/climatologist Kerry Kelts. This interest, combined with his love of the outdoors and experience hiking on three continents, fueled the creation of HB’s clean technology area of expertise -- an area of significant business opportunity and personal fulfillment. Nicolas’s volunteer and philanthropic interests revolve around conservation, renewable energy and the preservation of open spaces.
Nicolas regularly speaks on branding and public relations. Recent appearances include the Boston Association of IT Professionals (AITP), GSAS Harvard Biotechnology Club, and Yankee IABC Senior Corporate Communicators Group, the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce and CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education).
He has also presented for the Middlebury Entrepreneurs Mentoring Service and is a founder of Middlebury’s intensive winter term program, MiddCORE – Creativity, Opportunity, Risk and Entrepreneurship.
